How it works

Three steps. A fixed fee. A plan you own.

The catalog and report take about three weeks and are quoted as a fixed fee before we start. What happens after is up to you.

01

Catalog

Weeks 1 and 2

I learn how your business actually runs, not just what software you own. That means time with you and with the people doing the work.

  • Interviews with leadership and the people doing the work
  • Every system, vendor, contract, and integration
  • What you spend, and what you use
  • The hand work that fills the gaps between systems
02

Report

Week 3

A written report, presented in person, with time for every question. Every finding follows the same template, so you can check the reasoning.

  • Findings ranked by what each problem costs you
  • Hours to fix, timeline, and break-even for each change
  • What to leave alone, and when to look again
  • A sequence for doing the work
03

Do the work

After the report

The plan is yours. Handle it in-house, hire me to do it, or have me find and manage the right vendor. If you hire me, my rates are in the proposal before you decide, and the plan stays the same either way.

  • Building, fixing, and connecting systems, under one contract with me
  • Requirements, shortlists, and scripted vendor demos
  • Proposal and contract review
  • Oversight while the work gets done, whoever does it

What I'll need from you

A list of the software you pay for, with recent invoices if you have them. Copies of your main vendor contracts. A few hours of your time, and an hour or two with a handful of your people.

What you won't get

A sales pitch for software I resell, because I don't resell any. A binder that sits on a shelf. A recommendation that depends on who's paying me, because only you are.
